So I recently found out that I was accepted to give a talk at the Microbiology Society ECM conference in Birmingham (and won some money to attend too!). In addition to this, I was also lucky enough to be selected for the summer 2018 ‘Acid Fast Club‘ conference (basically mycobacteria and nothing else) at the Jenner Institute, talking about my findings from my PhD.

This is all in conjunction with having to do an internal seminar next week and a presentation as part of the internal post-graduate research day last week. So currently, I have presentations everywhere with all different audiences to cater for, all different data (some not so relevant to non-TB conference etc), so it’s safe to say that my poor computer has really suffered, especially when powerpoint refuses to work…

So here’s to another week of slightly editing one slide here, another slide there, removing animation here, changing the font size there, adding a graph in here, removing another graph there etc etc….
